Yield, means yield! It doesnt mean stop, speed up super fast and cut someone off that is trying to merge in, etc. Well, the gentleman I had the pleasure of merging on the bypass with this morning didnt seem to agree with this concept. I was turning right and merging onto the Bypass and he was coming straight across onto the Bypass. He proceeded to floor it and try to swerve around me. When he realized he couldnt make it around my SUV, he fell back behind me and was making hand gestures (not flipping me off, but hands in air indicating he was not happy), talking outloud, etc. Whats a girl to do? I thought for a moment and decided to choose grace, kill him with kindness, and to have a little fun. So..... when the Bypass split onto two lanes, he pulled up along aside me and shot me a look of disapproval. Instead of arguing back, instead I motioned to my blonde hair, shrugged as it to say so sorry, blonde driver, waved to him and blew him a kiss. Ha... it was the funniest thing ever. He actually laughed and waived back. You see... one of my sayings is I dont need to be right, I just need IT to be right. I just do not have the need to prove someone wrong. Instead I prefer to move past an issue. I didnt need to be right or prove him wrong; I probably couldnt even if I had wanted to.
