Yikes! I was making a smoothie a couple of days ago and my Vitamix started to have a burning smell and sounded like it was blending chunks of ice but there was no ice in it. I tried just plain water and it made the same sound. The blade will hardly turn at all. I have a couple of questions, can this be fixed or do I need a new blade assembly, and if so does anyone know where I can get one in Canada. I am in the Niagara region. Also in the meantime can I use my dry container for smoothies? I have been using my magic bullet but not impressed with the chunky smoothies of the last two days. Thanks again in advance, this group is just amazing!
