Ravens are an old team with a new name, thats it, the actual organization was founded in the 40s, the Ravens was an organization built since 1943, the owner of the Browns simply picked up an relocated the already existing team and renamed them, they Ravens drafted Ray Lew on pre-existing heritage, its fun to try to pretend, but the Ravens arent really an expansion team , proven by the fact they didnt do an expansion draft. Just because the city of Cleveland legally won the records, doesnt separate them from the history entirely . They won the Super Bowl 4 years after being renamed, the organization took 53 years. Funny how theyre technically classified as the expansion team, when the current Browns organization has a more legitimate claim to being an expansion team, expansion draft and all, not a shred of the old organization (which moved to Baltimore) remained except the names and the records (which they legally won). The Ravens are just the Purple Browns, everything the Ravens are, the Browns would be been Modell not moved (since the identity that was molded as the Ravens, was what was molded from that organizations direction), and vice-versa, I take every chance I can to laugh at Browns fans about it. The difference between ween the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns, is the exact difference between the Tennessee Titans and the Houston Oilers, just without Houston legally winning all the record books.
