Yippee - I was released from the doctors care on my hip replacement today! He is going to keep an eye on the suture abscess I developed last week, but it looks good to me. Now for the right knee issue ... x-ray did not show any arthritis for which I am totally grateful, but he does have me getting an MRI next Thursday. He feels as though it is either a meniscal or mcl tear. I will revisit him the following Tuesday (1st) for the results. If it is a tear, I will have to get it "fixed" with arthroscopic surgery. But will not know anything for sure until the 1st. Of course, I am to take it easy and be on it as little as possible. I am so telling you, this resting thing is DIFFICULT! I really am trying to be good and not do much. It is worse when everyone is home and I feel the need to care for others, instead of them for me. I am just a doer kinda person is all. I miss you all so much!
