Yippee, coming home for Pan Macmillan Christmas party! Booked the flights yesterday, ONLINE _ get me able to do things like that at last! We will be coming home on 26th January, but havent booked a flight back because, as always, there will be so much to do, loved ones to see etc... so it is best to do that when we are there and know our itinerary. Besides, there is a lovely new little baby to be born and we want to be there to welcome our newest g.grandchild. We always miss out on these events and end up seeing our new ones when they are a month or so old, but this time the party coincides with the due date...wonderful. Unfortunately, coffers dont run to going backwards and forwards for all events so when two collide it is a bonus. The party is on the 29th, and I have to go to London and back on my own. Quite daunting. I have booked a train to St Pancras, then I should get one to Blackfriars, but you know me - Id end up in Timbucktoo - even though I cant spell it, haha. So I have decided to get a taxi from the station to the venue. That way, I cant get lost - can I? Watch this space! Cannot wait to meet up with all the other lovely authors again and hope they are all going to make it this year. I am going to wear the dress I wore for my very first launch, but will have stronger knicker elastic this time, ooh, my face goes red every time I think of that dress... haha.... Well, my deadline for the edit is very near, so I have to keep my head down. Hoping to write a full concluding chapter today as I have now made the whole thing into two books - well, one and a half - the half I have cut from this one will have to be developed into a full novel, and the first half that I am submitting now has to have a conclusion - am I babbling on?
