The question was for 1500 points ( 6750 earned till now ) Question : An insulated shell and tube heat exchanger is used in order to heat water within the tubes from an initial temperature of 30 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius at a rate of 5 kg/s. Heat is supplied by hot oil entering the shell, at a rate of 10 kg/s, and a temperature of 150 degrees Celsius. Determine the exit temperature of the oil and the rate of entropy generation throughout the process. (Cp water is 4.18 kj/kg.k and Cp oil is 2.3 kj/kg.k).
