Yo Antone "Yo Antone . . ." was the exagerrated message left I was seeking support from one who knew my quest Right now that I can’t collect thoughts that scatter Tone said, "Express yourself with that pen" So I applied pen to paper and went in Hoping that someone in need will comprehend Not my situation or circumstance But that our earthly journeys are date stanped Yet love has not an end Yet we must celebrate the sad times as sacred And together seek to find in life new meaning Such that the worst of times count as blessings And the most challenging present mere opportunity Another chance to get what we f-ed up right A chance to garner life experience and produce insight If there’s something not right with you and yours Apologize damn it and move beyond it As a teen I didn’t know whether or not my father loved me Believing that if he loved me he would have come for me God has truly taught me that I fall short of the Man I was created to be As a Man, my Father is one who loves me, respects me and accepts me . . .
