There are two more videos from this last Saturday to upload which will happen by this weekend. When watching yourselves: - Observe your footwork: o When Attacking: using small steps ? chasing small & slow ? attacking fast and furious ? when attacking – balanced and not over reaching when lunging ? o When on Defense: when retreating, staying down and not standing up ? faking cutting as if you are going to counter attack to keep your opponent guessing ? using entire strip ? - How are you giving up points i.e. on defense or when on the attack ? if on defense, are you parrying or counter attacking ? DON’T COUNTER ATTACK on DEFENSE ! if on attack, are you waiting too long ? - Distance: are you too close or far away on attacks ? are you too close on defense i.e. do you let the attacker get too close before retreating ?
