Yo Schmidt-HOLE, I am an old school Electronics technician. 18 months of trade school in electronics as an engineering assistant. By the time I graduated they just filled those positions with Jr college EEs. So from my experience, NO. I tried to make it as a two-way technician but I could see by the time 1992 rolled around that that was a dead end too. I turned myself in to a UNIX admin between 1992 and 1996 with OJT. I professionally got a job as an admin in 1996. At todays prices you are full of it. Until Google puts its money where your mouth is and opens the free university of google with accredited degrees you are a an A$$ H0LE.
