Yo peeps, just wanted to big you all up for last nights adventure. Id actually forgotten how much of a mind fu*k the run to Greenwhich can be for those who dont know the way. Its confusing at the best of times and feels never ending as you get into the last few miles but the most important thing to take away is that we made it together. I definitely would have bailed out if it wasnt for the support of the crew last night. Apologies to everyone for the extended housekeeping session but I think at times its important to just sit down and spend some time in the company of people and share some love. I meant every word I said so lets get on the phones and the texts and let our people who are AWOL know we are thinking of them. Depression and running go hand in hand for many people in the crew and Ill never been shy about sharing my own battles if it gives other people the confidence to share their woes. As someone who in certain circles is seen as a face or public figure I feel its important to let people know that day to day life is not all roses and sometimes you need the energy of others to get you through the day. If I can share my battles with the black clouds then hopefully you can too. We have a special thing going on at Run Dem people and it really begins to hit home whenever I go away. We may not be the fastest, most hardcore or the coolest but we do take care of each other and promote that community feeling well. Im proud to be your leader and look forward to many more adventures to come. Run safe people . Shouts to Oveous for the blessing and each and everyone of you who reached.
