Yoga challenge... instead of just moving gently from pose to pose or holding poses forever, how about moving in and out of the pose a bit faster (though still with control) and doing repetitions and then maybe hold the position for a bit. For instance, Warrior I... get into your basic Warrior I position, keep legs in that position, while you reach arms down and fold torso over front leg, hands on either side of front foot. Using abs, lift your torso straight up and back into Warrior I position. Try 10-15 reps, then hold Warrior I for 15 seconds. If you want more of this, come to class tonight at the Y at 4:30.
