Yorktown musician Seth Cook did appear on NBC’s “The Voice” - TopicsExpress

Yorktown musician Seth Cook did appear on NBC’s “The Voice” Tuesday night. It was a brief appearance for the young country artist, but an impressive one when you consider the odds of him actually reaching that point. Cook, 20, was one of 65 singers chosen out of 40,000 to make it to the blind auditions. Performers sing behind the backs – literally – of judges Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton. The judges choose their team members on voice only. Cook, who took the stage with his guitar, did not get any chairs to turn. But the singer is not stopping. He will continue to perform with his own band and his parents, the popular country duo Cook & Belle. “I didn’t make it but it doesn’t end here,” Cook posted on his Twitter feed Tuesday.
