.........Yoruba nation failed to call the North to order, when they were killing the Igbo in the North dated back to 1945, due to religion or other issues with concrete actions, not just newspaper condemnation,. They did not see anything wrong with the first coup in which the Igbo mercilessly killed leaders from the North either, at the same time, the Yoruba failed to call on the Igbo to respect the culture of their hosts particularly in the North till today which still believes in conservative ideas, alien to western civilization, all which would have prevented problems not just for them or the silent minorities, but in most cases the Yoruba looked the other way, this is where the Yoruba failed Nigeria, sadly, this is the truth. The Oracle says in any association of three powerful people, one must be a good facilitator, an unbiased umpire, the one with a bigger shoulder, but greed, and lack of understanding deprived the Yoruba of playing this God given role that could have saved Nigeria a lot of problems.........
