Yosemite, CA — A stretch of Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass has reopened along with a scenic road in Yosemite. You can now travel all the way to the east end of Lake Alpine on Highway 4. Caltrans reports crews removed snow, rocks and trees along the section. Earlier this week, Caltrans also opened Highway 108 Sonora Pass to Kennedy Meadows. Today, Yosemite National Park opened Glacier Point Road to bicyclists for the weekend. Park Officials say vault toilets are available, but there is no running water. Cyclists are urged to use caution while in the park as the roadway may be wet due to melting snow and wildlife may be on or along the road. On Monday, motorists can hit the road starting at noon. Park Officials say there is no projected opening date for the Bridalveil Creek Campground. As reported earlier this week, crews will start plowing operations for Highway 120 Tioga Pass on April 15. There is no estimated date when it will open. You can get road conditions anytime by clicking on traffic on the home page of myMotherlode. Written by Tracey Petersen.
