Yosof was established on 12th of June,2012 as a youth development agency,a non-profit and an humanitarian organization with a single focus on youth to work towards a society where young men and women are empowered to develop their potential,creativity and skills as productive and members of their society. Also,Yosof is a body that is founded on the principle of patriotism,justice,egalitarianism to actualize harmonious,indivisible youth group. In addendum, ours is poised and foisted to assist the aged,orphans,displaced,widows,less privilege and physically challenge individuals with a pivotal aim to give them a sense of belonging and inculcate in them that they are also part of the developmental process of any economy. Thus,youth solidarity for change(YOSOFC) is a social,cultural youth organization initiated to rekindle lost hope and foster unity and national development. Above all,to emancipate the teeming youths from the shackles of oppression and victimization. Furthermore,Yosof advocates the effective participation of young men and women in the development process and social transformation. Our group also use this fora to address fundamental issues on the activities of the government and to preach,agitate and protect the right,privileges and liberations of Nigeria youths. Yosof works to engage and empower young people(ages 18-50) to enhance their contribution to national development. OUR CORE AIM:- * To encourage youth to be actively involved in the crusade for a Viva porous democracy and become agent of change in their various communities. *To eschew the spirit of harmony and solidarity among various youth organization and articulate efforts to advocate for their rights,privileges,liberties,welfare and development. *To mobilize youths for active participation in governance,community development and humanitarian services. *To produce youths with the spirit of nationalism and ensure the adequate representation of youths in all tiers of government and decision making process at all levels.
