You Can Rise Above It There is much in this world to keep us - TopicsExpress

You Can Rise Above It There is much in this world to keep us discouraged, stumbling and fumbling around, but there is much more in Gods WORD to keep us grounded and elevated at the same time. His WORD keeps us grounded so that we are not tossed every which way by the woes we witness and/or face day in and day out. Yes we will have them, but they cannot disturb our footing when it is we are grounded in the WORD of God. Gods WORD truly keeps us like the old hymn said “Like a tree planted by the waters, I shall not be moved”. Also, His WORD keeps us elevated above the wickedness and corruption around us. Though we live among it, are affected by it, have to face it, and have to speak against it we can yet stay elevated from the despair and destruction this world brings if we just keep our eyes up toward the hills which come our help. Those who have a relationship with God can rest knowing that their help comes from above and therefore they are elevated above their circumstances even while in the midst of them. Its a powerful thing to be able to, but the power comes not from us. It comes from the Almighty God who is ever present with us.
