You Make it Better January 16, 2014 When Jesus showed up on the scene in Luke Chapter 5 good things followed. There are numerous stories about the wonderful things that transpired just because Jesus was coming or had been through. Before He showed up, people were excited. After he left, they felt blessed, and had personal testimonies. So how do people feel when they know that you are coming? Are the excited for your arrival? Do they feel blessed after you leave? While you are certainly not Jesus, you are His representative. People should feel his presence when you are around. They should feel blessed when you leave because of the kindness, gentle spirit, and good works you perform in His name. When Jesus showed up, he brought the good news. You must do the same. Hopefully you already believe that people are touched, enriched, enlightened, and blessed when you arrive. Leave every place you visit better off than what is was when you arrived. Offer Jesus and God’s word. It is part of being like Christ, and is the challenge to every Christian. Be blessed my brothers and sisters and smile because God has chosen you as His representative. Jesus replied, Let us go somewhere else--to the nearby villages--so I can preach there also. That is why I have come. Mark 1:38
