You Say There Is A God... Is That Enough? The Huffington Post - TopicsExpress

You Say There Is A God... Is That Enough? The Huffington Post has been on a terror against Christianity the past few weeks. Story after story has appeared about the supposed proof against Biblical Christianity. They wrapped up the week with this headline: “If Jesus Never Existed, Religion May Be Fiction” Never mind the fact that the author never quotes any specific scripture, or the 20,000 plus pieces of manuscript evidence we have, or the hundreds of eye witness accounts, or the archeological evidence, or the fact that after 2,000 plus years of trying... we have never found the body of Christ. Yes, the author wants us to discount all those things and believe that there was never even the historical person of Jesus of Nazareth. James 2:19 says, “You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.” James, the brother of Jesus wrote that. James who grew up in the same house as Jesus. James who mocked and didnt believe Jesus claim to be the Christ, the Son of God. James who for some reason made a total reversal of his beliefs about Jesus and became a pillar of the early Christian church, after Jesus death. What was it that could have brought about such a radical change in someone who wasnt just some random unbeliever... someone who grew up with and spent every day of his life with Jesus? If were honest with ourselves it could only have been one thing. It was the same thing that radically transformed the Apostle Paul. It was the same thing that took a group of cowering, fear filled disciples from hiding in a room to boldly preaching in the streets and eventually dying for their belief... It was THE RESURRECTION, the risen Christ who had overcome death. Thats what radically transformed all of them and it will radically transform you too! All you have to do is believe. Humbly and sincerely ask Jesus to reveal himself to you and I promise he will. He did it for me and his promise is that he will do it for you. So today, I ask you... no I beg you, if you hear Gods call DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEART. Pass me not, O gentle Savior, Hear my humble cry; While on others Thou art calling, Do not pass me by ... Im calling Savior, Savior Hear my humble cry While on others thou are calling Do not pass me by ...
