You all know about our Christmas Concert on the 14th December at the Kelvingrove art gallery and museum, but did you know we also have a fantastic range of beautiful cards available to send to your loved ones over the festive period?? You can also drop by our fundraising hub at the main entrance of the Tom Wheldon building – open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm or our welcome desk at the main entrance of the Beatson and pick up an order form. The cards cover a whole range of categories from traditional Christmas scenes, religious stories and light-hearted designs, as well as a truly magical photograph showing an iconic Glasgow landmark, the Glasgow Botanic Gardens taken by Mark Gibson from Herald and Times Group. Cards are priced at £3.25 for a pack of 10. We do hope you’ll choose Beatson Cancer Charity cards this Christmas – every penny raised from sales of the cards will go towards supporting the 8000 new patients who visit the Beatson each year. We do this by providing a wide range of patient and family support services and facilities, funding specialist posts including nursing, radiography, physics and research-based staff as well as advanced medical equipment, innovative service developments and ground-breaking research projects.
