You all must have seen Pangong Tso (Lake) in movies. It is a huge saline water lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,350 m (14,270 ft). It is 134 km (83 mi) long and extends from India to Tibet. 60% of the length of the lake lies in China. We saw this majestic water body in its winter splendor, sans its summer hordes of tourists. The azure & emerald green waters were completely frozen & covered under a thick sheath of ice & snow, but we could sit under these picturesque huts & lie on the frozen Pan Gong & just admire the other worldly vista, as the clouds rolled by.
