You are Invited to join us tommorrow Breast Cancer Champion’s Annual Programme “ Sangini KI Umang” 2014 Sangini Cancer Society, a voluntary Organization founded by late Dr. Anupma Negi in 2007 , dedicated to Breast Cancer patients holds its Annual Programme “ Sangini KI Umang 2014”, on Oct 12 ,2014 at St .Paul Professional Studies , Indore. Sangini is run mainly by Breast Cancer Champions who have survived and sustained the vision and mission of Dr Anupma Negi. Chief guest of this programme is Mrs Mamta Goenka, a Breast cancer Champion, an eminent counselor from Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai , and patron of Sangini . The programme aims to raise awareness among people about causes; prevention, treatment and support for breast Cancer patients. It includes introduction about the Origin, objectives, role and contribution of “ Sangini” by its secretary Dr Mrs Janak Palta McGilligan and Coordinator Mrs Anuradha Saxena . Breast cancer champions (survivors) will also share their experiences of overcoming the disease and also perform play, songs, dances & quiz . Patients & caregivers will have a direct discussion on various issues relating to Breast Cancer with a panel of experts , Dr. Aarti Kaul Patel Choith Ram Hospital,Dr Anirudh Damani Plastic Surgeon Bombay Hospital, Oncologist Dr Rakesh Taran CH Apollo , Cancer Surgeons Dr Deepak Aggarwal & Dr Arun Aggarwal from Ms.Vidhi Vijaywargiya Dietician from Shakutnla Devi Hopsital. Mrs Mamta Goenka , will also conduct two Capacity Building sessions 1 Caregivers and Sangini Volunteers on “Lymphadema Management” and 2 “Counseling”, mainly for Sangini Volunteers involved in counseling the patients.
