You are Jenga. The three-dimensional metaphoric structure - TopicsExpress

You are Jenga. The three-dimensional metaphoric structure that is your life gains height every time something significant happens to you. Your consciousness is the penthouse suite; looking out over your surroundings. Taking in the information, converting it into bricks and growing. The bricks first laid are the most important. They hold the entire tower and point the direction of up. Sometimes it is only much later that we realize the base was not set and perhaps some bricks were never actually laid. As the building grows those weak and destructive bricks crumble and destablize that which is standing. The tower may begin to teeter and perhaps crumble into oblivion. It is in these moments of recognition of the holes in the structure that they often get patched hastily or ignored all together. One recourse is to look outward at the other structures you surround yourself with. Transfer of data between structures can allow for the creation of new bricks. These bricks can be added to the top of the structure (where all new bricks must go) and they may have a cantilever effect. Stabilizing the lean. With multiple cantilever bricks the direction can be altered all together. Patience, a steady hand, and support are all that are required. Grow.
