Over the past two days, these words have been banging around in my head, and wether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Receiving a phone call last week from a person I had not heard from for at least two and half years asking me to have a look at their aging stove and oven because it needed repairing as they were moving, firstly it was quite a challenge with the new appliance technicians normally saying buy a new stove and oven , a challenge which I was convinced I could solve, all been equal the repair should have been completed last week, but because some of the spares needed were not available in JHB, the completion was delayed until yesterday. While there completing the repair the home owner asked me if I knew of anyone wanting a dining room suite ( white oak ) a double bed head board and side cupboards ( hand assembled and carved ) a wee chest freezer and some other bits and bobs, which when he told me the price he was looking for, I was pretty gobsmacked. Heres the unfolding as it should part, Jarrod has been looking for some good chairs for his dining table and has been eyeing a few old turned chairs I have at home which need a bit of work, my thoughts were, he would love this dining room suite. The home owner, his awesome wife and myself made a deal to trade my invoice amount for the items with the balance to be paid by myself, well today he said to me, I have a few items needing done at the new house and at the workshop, well sort things out then. End result, Jarrod has an amazing dining room suite, Troy has the bedroom suite and is over the moon with it and with a little bit of work the chest freezer will be ready for our use in a day or two.
