You are all about to learn one of my darkest secrets—I am a terrible, terrible typist. Right before I was supposed to learn typing in jr high, I got hit in the arm by a hockey puck in PE, and ended up missing the typing class completely. It’s giveaway time already! I don’t usually have a specific person in mind as a physical model when I’m writing a book. But sometimes I realize one of my characters resembles an actor. In my Ennek series, for instance, Ennek looks like a young Rufus Sewell and Miner is a young Paul Bettany. In my newest book, Motel. Pool., Jack bears a resemblance to James Dean, although he’s better-looking.
