You are all pathetic reading these posts. Buying into this small, monopolistic, fantasy world that we live in as CC students. You claim to be independent, free willed, diverse, and free thinking. You act empowered when youre actions actually make you powerless. You act pretentious when you have known nothing but privilege. You act smart when you have taken one block on a subject but not 5 inter-connecting courses. You act as if you were objectified when someone compliments you or your body when in reality youve been neglected your whole life and a compliment is an unexpected and unprecedented gesture. My point is, this is not the real world. You are not that relevant. There are 300 million other people in this country and you will know less than 1% of them, get off your high horse CC and realize that gaining a liberal arts education does not entitle you to think you are superior, special, or relevant in any way possible.
