You are blessed if you have clean drinking water, a job, health care, food (even a little), a home (even a small one), a vehicle (even a beat-up one), friends and family (even if neither is perfect), clothes (even old ones), a peaceful or even semi-peaceful neighborhood, just one blanket, no bombs demolishing your home or town, warmth, electricity, good or fair health, eye sight, the ability to walk, your mental faculties...now and every day please remember the abused, the lonely, the starving, the homeless, those in war-torn countries, the soldiers, the sick, those unable to go to school, those going to an awful school, those living in poverty, in the slums, in a refugee camp, those who are being tortured or killed for their beliefs or for speaking out against their government, those who have no advocate. Complaints about petty things make me sad for the complainer, that he/she cannot see how good they have it. Many people in this world would give anything to have even one of those things on the list of blessings.
