You are composed of one constantly changing and the other never - TopicsExpress

You are composed of one constantly changing and the other never changing part. These two parts exist as embedded in each one of us. Your body, its appearance, like and dislike, fears, dreams, desires, knowledge, feelings, emotions, energy, love, hatred and much more are all ever changing - ephemeral. Human cells die every three months and new cells are born. Then there is your being or soul or Buddha nature or awakening or consciousness. This is never born and never dies. This is eternal. You are born with this. You never remain aware of the eternal aspect. And you continue to remain unaware until the dawn of awakening comes. Then you are light unto yourself. And the sun of awakening never sets. Bliss overflows. The ephemeral part is the circumference and the eternal part is the center of the ultimate – the reality. You consider these parts are one. Until awakening you live on the circumference. This is the cause of pain, pleasure and misery. You constantly use the letter ‘I’ as a word in your casual day to day life without understanding to which part of you, ‘I’ really refers to. Does your ‘I’ refer to the ephemeral or eternal part? Meditate! As meditation deepens one day certainly you will understand the difference and then bliss remains your essence as the aura.
