You are entitled to your anger - no doubt about that. However, the side effects of chronic anger, such as heart disease and depression, arent exactly going to make your life better. So, when junior punches hole # 899 in the wall, or steals the earrings your late grandma left you, or kills the budgies in your younger childs room.......whatever, take a physical step backward to help remind you that you need to take a mental step backward so that you can remind yourself that there are healthy places to verbally express that anger (in a journal, in your blog, yelling in your car at the beach, with your best friend, with your therapist), and healthy places to physically express the anger (yoga class, boxing class, running, swimming, cardio classes, a workout circuit). Dont hold it in, but let it out in a healthy way - in a way that boosts your health and lets you move on. Hey friends, you are entitled to a much better day.
