You are good enough for Him If we disown him, he will also disown us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself. (2 Timothy 2: 12b-13 NIV®) Many of us struggle with our faith. Some may have too little faith, not really fully trusting that God will provide. Others may have too weak faith, not sustaining them into the life of serving. And a few have doubting faith, questioning many things, always meditating about God and debating with themselves and sometimes others. But most are not faithless in one way but all three: doubting, little and weak faith. Very often such believers are accused of not being good enough Christians. If they are not welcome in church the world is happy to take them. They get discouraged and slowly but surely drift away until the day they will disown Jesus. And Jesus disowns them in return. Brothers, sisters, let no one tell you that you are not good enough Christian for having little, weak or doubting faith. We are all the same, only Jesus is a perfect Christian. Curing faithless is not human but God’s business. Turn to Jesus and He will give you more faith. He can’t help it, this is who He is: FAITHFUL! JUST FOR TODAY: Grace and mercy of God will see me through – Jesus loves me!
