You are invited to attend and contribute to the first Make Change Happen – Tweed event to be held on Thursday 16th October from 5pm to 8pm in Murwillumbah at the Murwillumbah Community Centre in Nullum Street. We are a group of local graduates from the Rural Environmental Leadership Program run by the Centre for Sustainability Leadership in the Northern Rivers csl.org.au The Make Change Happen approach is a new and proven way of getting support for worthwhile projects. This event is totally non-profit, apolitical, and not affiliated with any other group or ideology other than a passion for the sustainability of where we live. A key part of the Make Change Happen process is the opportunity to participate in crowdsourcing by asking others to contribute ideas and strategies to help you overcome a problem, obstacle or challenge your project is facing. If you would like to be a part of the crowdsourcing part of the event, when you RSVP please include a description of your project (50 words or less) and a description of the challenge or obstacle you would like help with (50 words of less). If you have questions please call Neil Taylor on 0418 476 759. RSVP as soon as possible, definitely before Sunday 12th October to mchtweed@gmail. We look forward to seeing you there.
