You are invited to join our Community of Mothers for the 2nd year of the Building Better Moms (BBM) group at Lake Harriet United Methodist. Building Better Moms (BBM) strives to build a community of moms who learn, grow, and serve together. BBM members meet together in a larger group setting, while making connections with a small group with whom they share a table at each BBM meeting throughout the year. The BBM calendar follows the school calendar year, beginning in September and concluding in May. During our inaugural year, we had a wonderful first year of gatherings and had the opportunity to: • Meet new friends • Explore topics of parenting in conjunction with faith • Take a moment apart from our hectic daily schedules for fellowship • Considered more deeply the roles we have as parents • Considered more deeply how to nurture our own souls • Enjoyed some delicious food, conversation, and had a lot of fun We hope that you will consider joining our moms’ group for the 2014-15 school year! We meet every other Friday from 9:30 -11:30 AM in the Reception Room at Lake Harriet United Methodist Church. Annual membership dues are a $50 donation (with confidential scholarships available). Childcare is provided at no added cost for children 5 years and younger. For our groups second year, we will continue to have thought-provoking, conversation-stimulating, professional speakers discussing topics that are relevant to mothers and families. We also want to emphasize relationship building this year, so our assigned seating will be rotated several times throughout our time together so that all members will have an opportunity to get to know each other. Well also save time in the calendar to have social time and opportunities to connect with each other.
