No experience necessary. __________________________ Milagros (Miracles) Wednesday, January 28, 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon Rebekah Crisanta deYbarra shares the tradition of Milagros, or miracles, a folk art and prayer tradition kept alive today within indigenous communities in Mexico. Rebekah will explore the ways in which prayer can be art, as you create a small icon of Mary made with your own hand to bless your home. Come with an open heart. __________________________ Open Studio Thursdays, 1:00-8:00 PM (all semester) The Intersection introduces Open Studio to offer on-campus support to our students with their art practice. Engaging a regular art practice is a natural part of ones spiritual practice here at United. And remember, simple art is just as effective as complex art projects when connecting to your creative center. So stop by and join Sheryl Schwyhart, creative associate, in The Intersection.
