Klerkur himself received 1st prize in 2009 with the dream marks 9.5 for trot, 9 for walk, tölt, slow tölt, gallop, canter, spirit, and general impression. He also is a very successful competition horse and won amongst others Fjórðungsmót á Austurlandi Gæðingakeppni B-Class (four gait) with 8.96.Salvar mother is Stjarna frá Litlalandi, a granddaughter of the great Hrafn frá Holtsmúla. Stjarna was judged fourgaited and received an overall mark of 7.99 (8.5 for tölt, and spirit, 8 for trot, gallop, general impression and walk. Her total in conformation is 8.19 with 9 for neck-withers-shoulders, 8.5 for head, back and croup, and proportions). Salvar shows all gaits with long strides and high leg action.
