You are not righteous because you read many chapters of the Bible, paid your tithe, or attended all church services regularly. You are not righteous because you are morally upright or that you exercise discipline and self control. You became righteous because you exercised your faith in the sacrifice that Jesus made for you. When you believe this your faith is accounted for righteousness. Even when you have blown it one way or the other, God wants you to look up to the cross and see yourself as the righteousness of God. This revelation will cause you to rise up and keep walking with God. The devil will come at times to accuse you that, you cannot claim to be righteous with what you have just done. Remind him that you are not righteous because of what you have done but because of what Jesus did. Declare it boldly to yourself; I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. This is Grace at work, it does not make sin right. It make you live a life free of Sin. God will open doors for you today!! I will hear your testimony.
