You are officially invited to take part in the first PFASA Pole Sports League event. This will be the first in a series of friendly competitions designed for pole sports athletes of all levels. Bronze Division is for beginner level pole athletes, Silver Division is for intermediate level pole athletes and Gold Division is for advanced level pole athletes. The PFASA plans to host three PFASA Pole Sports League events each year. The first event will take place in Pretoria during the day of 5th October 2013, at Dragon Spirit Fusion Fitness Centre. The event is open to all South African pole athletes. The PFASA Pole Sports League was created to motivate pole athletes to continually improve their skills all year round. This relates directly with one of the main objectives of the PFASA, which is to raise the standards of pole sports within South Africa. This is the first pole sports competition in SA to integrate a comprehensive ‘Compulsory Moves Scorecard’ within the judging system. The judging system has been formatted to provide fair and equal grounds for each athlete taking part. The PFASA Pole Sports League judging system rewards athletes more heavily for pole technique and athleticism. The focus on pole as a sport is reflected within the scorecards. Pole sports athletes of all levels and ages will now have the chance to perform for a small, friendly and supportive audience. The Dragon Spirit studio can accommodate up to 100 audience members.
