You are only human, and human beings have no right to question God. An object should not ask the person who made it, “Why did you make me like this?” The potter can make anything he wants to make. He can use the same clay to make one thing for special use and another thing for daily use. ~ Romans 9:20-21 From the time we are young, we ask the question why? We call it being inquisitive, but maybe its human nature. When is the last time you asked God why? When you lost a job - or a loved one? When the disease was discovered or the bill you have no means of paying came? What we need to remember is God works all things, even our mistakes and shortcomings, for the good of those who love Him. He has a purpose for the pain and sadness. In Isaiah 55:8-9, The Lord says, “My thoughts are not like your thoughts. Your ways are not like my ways. Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. The questions we should ask God are What do You want me to learn from this? and How can I glorify You through this? Trust in our Father and His great plan for your life rather than questioning it and peace will be yours today.
