Description: Division: Consumer Products Departments: Distribution Grade: Hourly Location: Shelby, NC Purpose: The distribution/warehouse positions operate mobile lift equipment with various attachments, such as forks, slip-sheet, roll-clamp, and box-clamp. They are responsible for safety, quality and the movement of finished goods and raw materials. Distribution/warehouse employees must be able to use basic computer equipment to track finished goods and raw materials. All applicants must be safety oriented, self directed, highly motivated and team oriented. Applicants must be able to work a 12 hour rotating shift schedule, as the facility operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week (including holidays). Applicants must complete an online application in full. Any future job offers are contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check. Basic Qualifications: - Must have and be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. - Must have at least two years of continuous full time work experience with a single employer within the last fours years, or have been a full time student. -Must have at least two years of warehouse/distribution experience with inventory/cycle count. - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be able to provide two forms of identification. - Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. - Any employment must not have been severed due to involuntary reasons other than forced reduction or layoff. - A Career Readiness Certificate preferred, but not required. - Manufacturing work experience preferred but not required. - Candidates will be given pre-employment testing and interviews. - Candidates will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment training program, which will not guarantee employment.
