The details of the job are the following: Job Synopsis HCL Looking for Design Engineers in Subsea/oil&gas Domain Company: HCL Technologies Ltd Experience: 3 to 8 yrs Location: Chennai Job Description - Take technical responsibility within projects and drive robust design and quality design in the various projects. - Prepare mechanical design and analyses of Subsea Power equipment, high voltage connections and related equipments. - The Engineer will be responsible for ensuring design in accordance with customer requirements and industry specifications. - Perform design work in 3D modeling tools (Pro/Engineer) and preferably ANSYS for mechanical analyses. - Knowledge to rules and regulations within the Oil & Gas industry ( ISO, ASME , API) - Produce drawing packages from concept to fabrication stage. - Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers. - Document and communicate results of technical data generated. - Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
