But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? • It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. • It is interesting to note that in Rwanda during the racial genocide, the church was the instrument for racial disharmony and people were actually killed in the church instead of being helped in the church. • There were priests who were messengers of the devil and instruments of Satan in promoting the killing of half a million people. Shame on that church…. • The Dutch Reformed Church was instrumental in promoting Apartheid and justifying racial discrimination from the Bible. • The politicians used the position of the DRC in promoting racism and segregation. • We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5: 20) • But He turned and rebuked and severely censured them. He said, You do not know of what sort of spirit you are, • For the Son of Man did not come to destroy mens lives, but to save them [from the penalty of eternal death]. And they journeyed on to another village. (Luke 9: 54-56) • What kind of spirit are you? Are you representing God or an ideology?
