You are the man nearest to jahanam (hell-fire) if you value your wife or girlfriend more than your mother.How would you know that you are valuing them more than your mum?: 1.When your wife lives in a well ventilated mansion with manicured lowns and security and your mother lives in a grass-thatched house with no good ventilation and security. 2.When your wife drives a Mercedes benz or Prado to buy groceries and your mother walks 5km to visit her relatives in the nearest village. 3.When your wife drinks caned juices or freshly prepared fruit juices and your mother drinks water from an open dam 4.When your wife feeds on spaghetti,pizza and biriani and your mum feeds on donated by The United States of America yellow maize. 5.When your wife wears the latest designer clothes and your mum recycles two or three dhirac for 5 years. 6.When you take your wife for holidays in luxurious resorts of Mombasa or Bahamas Island and you never sponsored your mum to visit the Holy Kabah in Makkah 7.When your wife complains of headache and you rush to look for the best doctor in Nairobi hospital or Aga Khan university hospital and your mum has been bedridden with chronic disease in her village without proper medication. 8.When you rush to answer your wifes call even when busy and ignoring your mums call only to call her back at night when you are completely free with an excuse of being busy at work. 9.When you can text or call your wife more than 10 times a day when you are away and only call your mum occasionally. 10.When always missed your wife when away only for a couple of hours or days and you have never visited your mum since you left high school or university until may be her death and you rush for funeral. Then my brothers we are doomed.We are headed for the wrong direction.Be sweet and nice to your wife but remember the first woman who brought you to this world.Who nurtured you.Who brought you up.She was your first love. She was your first school.Just as she put you above herself,put her above yourself.Just as she always sacrificed for you,sacrifice for her first.Caring for her doesnt mean only sending her monthly money.Do you call her in the morning whenever you wake up just to know how her night was?Do you discuss with her about her needs and struggles?Do you pray for her as she prayed for you when you were young?
