You are walking in high grass, when all of a sudden you feel this sting in your ankle, and you look, and it looks like a snake bite, but you never even saw the snake. Thats because this snake blended right in with the grass. Well, there are snakes today, that are blending right in with Christians, For this reason we are told to try the spirits, and many have forgotten that, and continue to wear their heart on their sleeve, when we have been told to guard our hearts with all diligence. There ARE snakes among us. Try the spirits, and guard your heart. Not everyone is who they portray themselves to be, some are there to bring division and strife, some are there to bring doubt and unbelief, some are there to bring guilt and shame. We cannot continue on this path, yes, we are to walk in love, but that doesnt mean embracing the snake. 1Jn_4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2Co 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2Co 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 1Jn_2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
