You ask: How did it go today? OK, Ill tell you ... It was a mix of frustration, tension, coziness, and joy. Waking up to freezing rain, I expected a disaster. But in the end, it wasnt. Some very dedicated people made their way in early this morning to set up. People like Mauro, who drove an hour from NJ -- on his birthday! When I arrived, David, April, Edwin, Joe M., Fran, and others were already there setting up. The Virolas, Serrantes, Mascias, Schoeners, and others all made it. I know some members were iced in their neighborhoods and couldnt make it. I know that Tom and Christine were stuck on the interstate for an hour or more, the Lord bless them... We had at least three first-time guests today, and a few returning guests. And the service became warm and cozy quite quickly. I believe the Lord met with us. (It was actually fun to see nearly everyone chip in and take down.) Our whole audio team couldnt make it, so we have no sermon audio to post to our site, and no sermon CDs today. However, everything was recorded, so the message will be available with next weeks audio. Thank you to everyone who made it there and made it happen! I trust everyone who couldnt make it was home safe and secure. I look forward to seeing you next Sunday. I dont administrate this page, but I did write this note... -RD
