You ask us how you can help..once in a while we send the list of things you can do. today, a few urgent matters we are doing and need help with: (as always, to remind you and to tell the *new* supporters here on UNFFT:): none of us gets paid, we are not an organisation that is getting donations or anything at all: we are just an organisation (501(C)3 Non profit, lawful and registered) which was started with love and with the vow to stay a volunteer organisation and work with volunteers only for the benefit of all Tibetans and Tibet): 1. Tibetans in Detention (Many Tibetans are in jails in many different countries, mostly for passports that are not valid). raising awareness for this refugee situation. 2. A Kidney for a Geshe: this is a workgroup working fast to find a kidney for a Tibetan Geshe in Dharamsala and financing for his continuing treatments. Alternative healing also discussed and researched. facebook/KidneyforGeshe 3.Children from the Himalayas: an ongoing project we have adopted to help Tibetan children go to school from the poorest families in the Himalayas. 4, Tibetans in Nepal. A very close knit group working on finding help for the Tibetans in Nepal and raising awareness for their situation. 5. Clean up Mcleod Ganj: a quite new initiative to clean up Mcleod Ganj with a monthly *clean up* 2 hours by everyone living there and tourists (wanting to have tourists help clean up the area, just one plastic bag at a time, it shall make a huge difference). 6. Tibet project. (more about this later) PS we never ask for money. If there is a project and that project needs donations, we put everyone in contact with the persons IN the project such as for the Kidney for the Geshe: all donations go directly to the Geshe, never via us. This way you can be assured that not one rupee/dollar is being used for anything else but the project it is sent to/for. Every project needs its own *people*, for instance the Kidney for a geshe needs people who know about Kidney failure and can help in that aspect.
