You ask what Thanksgiving means to you, a lot of people will answer its about family gatherings or eating turkey Thanksgiving Day is the day we offer thanks. To those who built the foundation of our land, And to those who died keeping our country free. A day we thank our God for his guiding hand. A day we sit down at our table with those we love. Feeling good knowing no danger lurks at our door. Thanksgiving Day is celebrated each and every year, By all Americans whether were rich or poor. A day we give thanks we can choose our way of life In a sinful world where much freedom is gone. Thanksgiving Day is a special day in our country, We are not perfect, but together we stand strong. This is what Thanksgiving Day means to me. Not every person thinks of the holiday season as a joyess happy time of year. Unfortunately, there are people out there that struggles through the holiday seasons alone amd depressed. Take today, and pray and give support to all the people who have family problems, health issues, depression, and any struggles of any kind. Do it for all of us. For noone is immune.
