You believe youre a wave and what you really are is the ocean. Youve never been anything but the infinite ocean. The ocean appears as a wave for a limited period of time. Its also appearing as all the other waves. For as far as the eye can see and much further, there is just ocean. It appears as many waves, but its really all just ocean. Each wave is a temporary appearance, just like your body, name and personhood. They come and go. And when they believe all they are is a unique, special, separate wave they suffer - a lot. Because thats never been true. The ocean remains. It never changes. It never dies. It never suffers. And when you know who you are, you wont suffer either. The ocean never suffers. You were never born. You can never die. You are not limited to this body, mind or person. You are everywhere. Peter Cutler
