You can deceive people, you can even easily deceive your self! But there is no deceiving God! He can see what no one else can! When he looks at you its not the same way that other people look at you! He looks upon the heart! He knows every thought you have, every struggle you deal with, and he knows when you are hiding something!!!! I preached a message a few weeks ago.... Hiding from God In Gen Chapter 3 Adam did what he wasnt supposed to do. He then found himself hiding from God. But what did God do? He called Adams name!!! Has God called your name? Has he came to you about that hidden thing? Weather it be hiding from your calling, or a hidden sin! You see when you pray and if there is something in your heart that shouldnt be the Lord will bring it to the surface! It is then your job to fix it! You cant just ask him to remove things! If you are hateful to someone then it is your job to go back and make it right! You dont just say Oh Lord remove that from my heart even though you already caused the hurt to the other person! No you fix it!!! Once HE brings it out its up to you to fix it or sweep it under the rug. But sweeping things under the rug in the long run you will only find.......... Destruction! Sis Valerie preached Friday. We went on a plane ride!!!! She then asked if there was anything in our hearts that would keep us from going to heaven??? Is there???? Dont deceive your self! When the Lord brings whatever it may be to the surface. Work on it!!! Dont sweep it under a rug!!!! Have a changed mind!!! Determine in your heart! I will over come this! You set your self up when you dont read pray and do the will of the Lord! When the Lord speaks to you it is up to you t respond and apply his word!~!
