You can get more than Big Macs at McDonalds. Coming home from College Station, Rita and I stopped in Taylor for coffee. Standing in line, the man in front of us started a conversation. We told him the usual stuff, where we were from and such. After a bit, he told us he was an author. Then for some reason he offered to get us a book. Leaving briefly, he returned with one. Perhaps a vanity press book,it is called " The Hunter. 100 B.C. ". A tale of an early Indian in Texas. This book has nice illustrations. Not long, but it seems factual. I think a good read for Ben, aged 8. The man is Robert Fischer and he has another book for sale on Amazon. The title is "The Knight In Rusty Armor". I did enjoy the first book and may buy the second.
