You can get shit tons of recorded lectures by professors from all across the country if you look for them. Many are free, and many others cost subscription fees that pale in comparison to the cost of institutional education. I wonder how many people know about the Google Scholar search engine, too. Type in Google Scholar, and there is a Google based search engine geared to search .edu archives before any other, so as to find you information that is peer-reviewed, and thus credible. The information is out there.
