You can read the word but living the word doesnt take place until conception does. The Word of God is living word but will never come alive for those who read for biblical history, comfort or theology alone. The Word of God comes alive for those who read the word for instruction and apply the instructions found. For that person they transcend the mere traditions of men and move into a whole another dimension of knowing and serving God as Supreme King. Even ones offerings will never do for them what obedience can. The Word of God teaches us that Obedience is greater than sacrifice. And this is the reason God through His Son Jesus commanded us all to make Gods Kingdom (His royal rule, authority and dominion) and righteousness (Gods way of doing and being right) our number one priority that we would live the righteousness of the Father on His terms submitted to the King as sons and daughters, ambassadors and citizens of the Kingdom called of God to reconcile man back to God in the same way God was in Christ reconciling man back to Himself.
