You can see this in much of todays street violence. I used to deal with a lot of troubled youth while in law enforcement. I would also deal with their parents and then would realize why this child has problems. The stories were generally the same: 1. either they were old gangsters themselves and promoted that lifestyle. 2. Had substance abuse issues. 4. Blamed it all on the police. 3. More importantly, just didnt care. When I left the job I was dealing with many same family second and third generation gang/narcotic related criminals. Acorns dont fall far from the tree!
